The Zillertal Arena is the largest ski area in the Zillertal and extends from Zell im Ziller, via Gerlos to Wald-Königsleiten and Krimml-Hochkrimml, where the house is located. On the 150 kilometers of slopes and 52 lifts, skiers and snowboarders will find a wide range of activities for all levels. An almost 100% snow guarantee and skiing up to 2,500 m altitude guarantee the perfect ski holiday in the Zillertal for the whole family. The Zillertal Arena is a holiday paradise for young and old.
The area nearest the house, the Gerlosplatte, is perfect for families. The local skischool uses this area frequently; and as a parent, you are bound to see your children regularly.
The Gerlosplatte also has the best snow conditions (due to its orientation), even when the rest of the ski resorts starts to suffer from wet snow.
Would you like to travel quickly and comfortably from the surrounding villages to the largest ski area in the Zillertal without your own car? This is not a problem with the Zillertal Arena ski buses. With a valid, i.e. charged, ski pass you can use the ski buses from the surrounding villages for free for the return journey to the ski area with ski clothing/alpine winter sports equipment.
